How We Help

Parkinson’s Disease

In 2002, HollyRod partnered with the Center for Parkinson’s Research and Movement Disorders at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California and established The HollyRod Compassionate Care Program (CCP).

HollyRod Compassionate Care enhances the quality of life for people with Parkinson’s disease. This program provides care, services, and resource information to those who have little or no healthcare insurance and limited financial resources. Services provided through HollyRod Compassionate Care may include:

  • Assistance obtaining medications
  • Assistance obtaining adaptive equipment
  • Assistance obtaining treatments and therapies not covered by insurance
  • Other services and care as needed
  • Support Groups
  • Counseling services

Patient needs are evaluated with a comprehensive questionnaire and an interview to determine how the HollyRod Compassionate Care Program can best assist the patient. The program is available to patients in the Greater Los Angeles area. APPLY TODAY!

Autism

The HollyRod autism initiative is at work developing our new Compassionate Care Center for Autism. The first of these national centers will be built in Los Angeles with the goal of making critically needed services accessible to the underserved autism community at little to no cost to families.

The Center will be all inclusive providing diagnostic, therapeutic and support services to children on the autism spectrum and their families. The Center will encompass a multi-disciplinary approach utilizing evidenced-based therapies along with more innovative options. The Center will also host an allergy/family-friendly cafe, barber shop, dental clinic, theater and much more.

Current plans are for the Center to open in late 2012, early 2013.

HollyRod Foundation is also raising funds to provide augmentative communication devices to nonverbal children with autism in underserved communities nationwide.
