My Brother Charlie Family Fun Day Goes to the Aquarium

HollyRod_MyBrotherCharlie_(108_of_215).jpgMy Brother Charlie is not just an award winning book, it’s an annual event.

For a child living with autism, an amusement park can be a frightening experience. With the help of sponsors and friends, HollyRod treats these children and their families to a day of fun in an open, welcoming environment.  Children on the spectrum often have a close affinity to animals and nature making an aquarium event a perfect fit!

HollyRod treats families living with autism to a private evening exploring the wonders of the sea! All of the aquarium’s exhibits are adjusted for children on the spectrum and their special way of experiencing the world.

Dinner and family-friendly entertainment is provided.

On June 23, 2016 My Brother Charlie Goes to the Aquarium hosted over 300 people to an evening of fun at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, CA. A big thank you to Toys R' Us for being our presenting sponsor! Thank you to Topricin, Target, and Aquaball for underwriting food and parking for all of our guests!
